What are people's experiences with mediocre ath/spd (50/50 in D2) and high lp/per (90/90) players?

I typically like high ath/spd and give a little on lp/per, but is a guy with the above ratings going to be a scoring machine, or severely hindered his Woody Harrelson-esqe physical limitations?

Obviously, this is for a SF.

I've only had 1 similar player and found that he was an efficient scorer as long as I didn't give him too much distro.  Let him score anywhere from 8-12 points and he was fine though.

How is his FT shooting?  If it is good I would give him the ball.

I have success with 60/60  guys with 90's in PER at DI.   I don't see why this guys couldn't be a good 3 pt shooter.

Ive had pretty good success at D2 with SF in that range athletically but with less LP/Per than that. On the other hand they were in the 70s for BH and passing too but still. I think 50s is just a little below average so not bad enough to not use them.

Here's your guy: http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=1862039 Raymond Reeser from my DII WNM team this season.  He was very effective, 48% from the field and 45% from 3pt range.  Definitely not a detriment to the team.

That guy has some impressive stamina, FW.

Thanks guys, the responses help.

I'am just getting back into HD after a while, so ATH is very important now, even more so than PER/LP?

um well kinda?

How I see it is ATH is a multiplier, it makes all your stats better.

A 90 ATH, 30 LP guy isn't going to score as well as a 30 ATH, 90 LP guy but he'll be better in just about everything else if all there other stats are equal.
