...Playing in a 24 team 1992 progressive, will the KC version of Bill Sampen perform better than the MON version as the raw #'s are the same but the KC version has better normalized numbers and thus a higher salary?  If i use the KC version, am i just paying more for the same product?  Player salary is part of a draft formula used for determining 1st round draft position.  Thanks in advance...

I think the difference is so small that you wouldn't notice. Plus, with any version, one or two bad outings would make his stats look bad for the entire season. But, the KC version is a little better, if it doesn't put you over the cap, I would say use it. As a great philosopher (whose name escapes me) once said, "why not ?"

Yes, because of normalization he'll perform better. I think it might be worth 140k in a 24-team league. Your mileage may vary.
