First year coach - worth re-hiring if under 50? Topic

I've got a first year RL bench coach that has 49 patience and 46 strategy ratings.  Is it worth bringing him back for a 2nd season or can I do much better on the open market?

As a general rule, what are acceptable ratings for rookie coaches and how much do you take into consideration if they have little (1 year) or no experience?

You can pull down last season's coaches at any level and see what the averages were.  But I wouldn't sweat the Rookie level.  Many owners leave them open for WIS to backfill for them hoping to catch a lucky break.

Since most guys at RL will never make the ML, don't worry about coaches there. I resign anyone who is willing, assuming their rating are what I like. Cuts down on the BS of fighting for coaches, the most unappealing part of HBD.
