Why is it that
Torcato gets the fireman award ahead of
Lopez? Lopez sported a lower whip & oav, had more saves, and pitched 35 more innings. I guess he's being punished for being a 2 inning closer, because it seems like the criteria is heavily weighted for sv %, as Lopez blew 8 saves, while Torcato only blew 2. Torcato also had a slightly lower era.
