I took over a team that has the #1 overall pick, and suffice it to say with my 14 max scouting Im not seeing anything great.  Certainly in my opinion nothing worthy of 1st OA.  Here is the best guy that I see, he is 18 yrs old, SP:

Innings eater for sure, however I think at best he should be 7th to 10th overall not 1st overall.  What do you guys think?

Im very much leaning towards grabbing a guy that very likely wont sign.  This guy is ranked 82nd! on my rankings, but he is the first guy that says he "probably wont sign."  Im taking a bit of a risk that he does sign, because he really really sucks.  What is the likelihood he wont sign?  I hope its at least 80%!  :)

80-90% sounds about right.  I have only had one guy like that take my initial offer.  Of course he was a DH for my NL franchise, but worth a shot to get the redraft next season.

You'd get the 2nd pick.

The second overall pick?  Really?  That doesn't seem to make sense.

Any unsigned natural first or second round draft pick will result in a type D comp pick the following season in the same draft location +1, provided that you met (and he rejected) his initial demands.  Any unsigned third round pick (same qualification) will result in a type D comp pick next season at the end of the third round.
