Player decline between season Topic

My SR SG went down from 560 overall to 555 overall, what logic is used in a player declining in between seasons? He went down in a number of areas that he is still shown to have average potential (black color)

they can lose a bit - think of it as the kid loafing during offseason - tends to be worse with weak WE, less with strong WE

Part random chance, part work ethic, part how close your decimals were to .5 when the previous season ended (the kid could have been 68.52 or something in a stat, lost a tenth of a point and visually dropped from a 69 to a 68). Most, if not all of those points will return after the first practice, I would imagine.

He was the only player on my team to see a decline so I wasn't sure how frequent this happened.

stamina goes down in the offseason a lot... at least for me
