Laws of diminishing returns. It applies to individual practice skills, does it apply to team practice as well? For instance, if I wanted to put 50 minutes into man to man, does the law still apply?

I think so but I have never tried....

Also, I can't imagine that is a "good" strategy.   Individual stats are more useful than IQ.

I'm confused. What was the question?

Can I put more than 20-25 minutes into team practice? For instance, if I wanted to run man to man can I put 50 minutes into man to man without suffering the laws of diminishing returns.

At  this point, most of my juniors and seniors are either maxed out or close to being maxed out.

I believe diminishing returns do apply - see threads with data by iguana long ago

Diminishing returns will apply but that still may be ok. No one knows exactly what the deteriation rate actually is. Your first 20-25 minutes (whatever the cutoff is) counts as 1:1 ratio. Maybe the next 10 minutes counts as .80 and the 10 after that .68. You will still get some added benefit. Out of the 50 minutes you put in, you may still get the equilivant of 30-35 worth of practice time. It just depends on how quickly the rate drops.
