i just signed a guy who is transferring from a D1 school and is listed as a junior, im in D3, my question is will he stay to be a 5th year senior or will i only have him for the 2 years? he was inelgible as a freshman and played as a sophmore, theres not really anything in the FAQ section that discusses this, its not really a big deal but if i could get him for another year that would be really nice

If he was ineligible as a freshman, then it is possible he will stay for a fifth year, although there is no guarantee.

On my team, Doug Byram is a 5th year senior, under the sort of same circumstances (he wasn't a transfer, but I don't think the staying/leaving logic changes in the two cases)

If the game goes by NCAA rules (which isn't a given), he would have a 5th year if he's earned his bachelor's degree by the end of his 4th.
