It's tough to assess your recruiting class without knowing their potentials. I would suggest waiting until you've signed all your players then posting their potentials here (or even in a sitemail).

Merry Christmas

You need to focus on ath/spd/reb and def. The players you recruited and are currently going after had better have high potentials in those categories or it's not gonna be a fun couple seasons. I understand you're a D3 team with a C- prestige, so that is tough, but you've gotta do better in those categories.

thanks uglyskunk, but why do I need those? I don't think I need def, because I play a 2-3 zone.

Oh, you absolutely need defense in a zone.  Not at every single position or in every single player, perhaps. . but on average, you still need a pretty good defense rating.

I woudl say that if yu have a substandard player in def in a zone, you need to balance him with an exceptional defensive player - if your point is poor in defense, your shooting guard needs to be exceptional.  If your PF is poor, your center needs to be exceptional.  Pretty much I always want my SF to be a good def player in a zone.

ah, thanks. I will get back to you guys with their potentials as soon as they become available. Thanks for the help. Merry Christmas.

Ath and def are so crucial. At D3 I always aimed for a team average of 50 in those categories(that's with a team of upperclassmen) So another way to put it is that your main rotation guys, you'd like to see 50+ ath and defense.

I found out that lesson the hard way, it was basically a 4 year  mistake with my team.

I like to see more ATH and DEF than what Richard Means has to offer. I understand your thought process, however, to sacrifice a little bit of defense in return for LP and Reb, but ATH is what allows PF/C to perform at their highest level. Other than that, nice job signing your first class and always try to improve every recruiting cycle
