Does anyone know what potentials correspond to when it comes to FT shooting?

a FT grade is worth about 3 percentage points.  ie..  the difference between a C-, C and C+ is roughly 63%, 66% and 69%.

I usually peg low potential to be around 2-3 points max.   So a low potential player that starts with 64% rating may peak around 66-67% on the high side.  It's also possible to get a max email after one practice if the player has no potential growth.  So it is possible to see a player with low potential improve a grade but I don't recall seeing anymore than that.

High end potential may average around 8-10 points of improvement which would be around 3 grades of improvement.  However I've seen high potential guys end up with only one grade of improvement so I'm guessing that's in the 5-6% range.  I've also seen players improve 6 or 7 grades over their career which is close to 20%.

I have a freshman on my Delta St team improve 3 grades this season with only 11 minutes of practice.

Curious iguana, have you noticed a stagger to the free throw improvement the same way a low starting value seems to take more effort in a normal attribute? In other words, does it seem to take "more minutes" to move a kid from, say, a D- to a D FT rating than it does from a B to a B+ (similar to how it takes longer for a kid to go from 10-15 in an attribute like LP than it does to get him from 50-55 in that category?

Yeah my rough estimate of Low/med/high in terms of grades is 0-1 / 1-2 / 2+
