I'm going insane hear.  Can some people explain 2 games for me.  I have Missouri, St. Louis DII in Phelan.  I've lost to 2 teams that I'm 40 rating points higher than and was favored in both games.  One team I lost to, Quincy, scored 20 points more than he did in any other game in conference play.  He faced a lesser opp. playing fullcourt press and loses by 14, 70-56.  My IQ's are good and have a good team.

This other game I lose to W. Oregon and was favored by 39.  They say don't play uptempo against press and teams your inferior too.  He went against both of them and won.

Everything the forums and guide say were totally irrelevant in these games.  Been around for a while and don't understand.  Going for a conference championship and none of the other teams in my conference seem to lose to inferior teams.

Forum posts reflect the opinion of the one making the post. Personally, I go up tempo against the press 100% of the time, unless I'm also a fcp team with inferior stamina and/or core ratings.

For game one, look at the minutes played for both team's starters. Not really a shocker that he beat you when his starting SRs (with better IQ) played a total of 128 minutes while Wilson add 16 minutes off the bench, for 144 minutes.

Your starters played 104 minutes total, while nokes add 19 minutes off the bench, for a total of 123 minutes. His best players played 20% more in terms of minutes than yours did. That's huge, and is a reason why I advocate stamina as a very important attribute for fcp recruiting. With poor team stamina, why run uptempo like this? I have been running slowdown numerous times against far weaker competition when my fcp team stamina was in the low 70s.

tianyi7886, TY for your input.  The reason I went uptempo is I thought my bench was better than his and I had good depth, but not great stamina.  I out scored his bench by 22, but I guess my bench against his starters wasn't good.
