Ticket response time Topic

The general Whatifsports forum seems to be almost entirely nonsense, so I figured my best shot at an actual reply would be here.  I submitted a ticket on Dec 14th that questioned the almost impossibly high rate of runners being thrown out at home plate (not just my team, both teams) in most Simleagues that I have joined.  Fast forward nearly a month and my ticket is still "in progress".  I'm thinking that I should submit a ticket to inquire about my ticket, but that also seems kind of silly.  Any thoughts, and while I'm at it...has anyone else noticed this issue in the WIS baseball sim?

Why do you say it is an impossibly high rate?

In nearly every game, someone is thrown out at home plate.  It's not uncommon at all for there to be two or three runners gunned down at the plate in a game.  Contrast this with the major leagues (or any level of baseball) and it is WAY too high.

There are 2 things here.  First, the response time is unacceptable, though I'm afraid I don't have any great ideas on solving that.

As to the point about frequency, what is your baserunner aggressiveness setting? I checked the last 15 games my teams have played and there were 2 runners total thrown out at home plate across all 15 games.  Which doesn't seem at all unreasonable to me.  Interestingly both of those occurred in an early 1900s prog where my baserunning aggressiveness is set at 4 (I usually use 2).

I have it set at 3.  I have noticed this phenomenon happening especially often in a progressive league that I am in, noticeably since 2005 or so (we just finished 2010)
