It always pays to double check Topic

I signed a Soph transfer during recruiting and set him to 2nd on my PG depth chart and 4th on my SG chart. My starting PG has a stamina of 73 and is set to fairly fresh so I figured his backup should get plenty of minutes. At the end of non-conference play, I get an email from the Soph complaining he is only getting 3 minutes a game. I am bewildered and I immediately check my team stats. My starting PG is playing 24.3 mpg which is what I expected but his backup is only playing 3 minutes like he said. My confusion grew. I checked the depth chart and yes it is set correctly. Then I scrolled down and checked the fatigue settings. Lo and behold, the Soph is set to Mopup. After soundly smacking myself in the forehead, I quickly changed his setting to fairly fresh. Either the previous coach had set him to mopup or else that is the default setting for a transfer. Either way, I missed it. I have signed transfers in the past but I don't remember having to reset them on the fatigue chart. I will definitely check for that in the future.

Also, if you have an injured player 'at rest',  don't forget to change it when you want him to play again.  I've made that mistake...TWICE

My starting SG and his backup were 3rd and 4th on the depth chart and picked up the remaining minutes. In the 2 games since I fixed the problem, my backup PG is averaging 14.5 mpg so that should make him happy again.
