I have noticed several threads about the lack of separation between D1 elites and Mid_Majors, and it seams that the common voice I hear is not enough Humans at the D1 level, to compete for the better players.
How about this WIS.....The D1 ranks in most Worlds have dozens of teams that have never, or hardly ever had a Human Coach. Why not make the jump from D2 to D1 an easier process for these teams and Conferences (The Quinnipiac's and UMBC of the world....basically the lower 1/4 teams in RPI). Lets us say solely a certain number of wins... just like it is in the GD game.
THEN, make it a competition of Wins, Title's, and Prestige to move on to Mid-Majors, and beyond. I know alot of guys who stay at D2 because after playing in a Conference against other Humans, do NOT take possible advance to D1 because of the SIM dominated wasteland that many Worlds are at D1. What do the rest of you think?
