Play Distribution Topic

With the current engine, I find myself adjusting my "Play Distribution" on the "Player Game Plan" page, much more than I used to.  (Which is great.)  But it can be confusing, when you adjust and adjust and adjust -- you can forget what your general distribution plan is.  I end up writing mine down off-site.  It would be great to be able to set my basic distribution and then adjust on a game-to-game basis in another column.

I would like to see extra column, similar to the current one on 3pt shots, where you could adjust players on a game-to-game basis.

For instance, at the beginning of the year -- or anytime throughout -- I could set my "General Distribution."  Let's say for my starters I went PG-3, SG-10, SF-10, PF-5, C-5 (and on down the line).

I would never have to touch that distribution all year long -- as long as I felt like it was working out well.

For game-to-game adjustments, I would use the "Game Adjustment" column.

Let's say my opponent for tonight's game had horrible D from their PF's and C's.  Instead of going in and changing their normal distribution for this one game, I would instead click on the "Game Adjustment" column -- which would look similar to the 3pt. column, and select, say, +10 for my big guys.  Maybe I would make my SG -2, as well.  So for tonight's game, my actual distribution would be: PG-3, SG-8, SF-10, PF-15, C-15.

After the game was over, the "Game Adjustment" column would zero out again, so your adjustments wouldn't accidentally carryover.

I think this would make game adjustments easier to manage and people would be more likely to do it -- and the game would be just a little more fun for it.

I second this suggestion. I was just thinking about how useful something like this would be a few days before I read it in the forums here.
