When do you hear back from the schools?

I applied around 11 today and job applications end at midnight tonight. Will I hear anytime or after one of the 2,5,8,11 cycles?

I applied for a job where I was a longshot, had no real chance and got denied between 2 and 5 after applying after 11. Got denied at 238, if memory serves me correctly. Same time my wife left me for the milkman. Same time my father said he was going to the store to get cigarettes. He came back though.
