Depth Chart Help Topic

Anyone who has the time, I would appreciate it if you'd take a look at my Methodist team and tell me how you'd set the depth chart.  Lot of ways to go with it it seems to me.  I have set it the way I'm going to for at least the first 6 or 8 games to see how it goes, but I'm very interested in how other coaches would handle this rather unorthodox group of players who are, nonetheless, reasonably talented (though certainly not as good as their #7 preranking).

Yard set one extra notch of fatigue from the others.

With that many PG, SG, & SFs you might as well throw a redshirt on Copple.

PG- Miller/Copple
SG- Ervwin/Burch
SF- Shackelford/Carter
PF: Yard/Nix
C:  Causey/Nix

Williams can relieve Nix at one position from time to time

PG   Miller/Burch/Copple
SG  Erwin/Burch/
SF   Shackleford/Carter/House
PF  Yard/ Carter/Nix
C    Causey/Nix/ Cass

I think mine is pretty similar to corns

Here's what I went with:

PG: Shackelford, Miller, Erwin, Burch
SG: Miller, Erwin, Burch, Copple
SF: Yard, Carter, Houseknecht, Burch
PF: Carter, Causey, Houseknecht, Carr
C: Causey, Nix, Carr, Carter

And I redshirted Williams who will ultimately be a decent (not great, but decent) player but right now with 25 ATH and 21 DEF is a massive liability.

I originally wanted to put Shackelford at SF as everyone else seems to want to do, but at the end of the day I wasn't willing to take a 10+ point dropoff in PASS to anybody else at the PG position.  Miller has high potential left in passing and may ultimately wind up as the PG by the postseason, but for right now that 69 PASS that Shack brings is too good to put at SF for me.  I also think this lineup balances my depth out better.

Incidentally, another thing I like about using Shackelford as a guard is that Erwin gets moved to the bench.  He's quietly one of the better offensive players on my team with a solid ATH/SPD combo, decent ball handling, and B+ FT shooting.  He'll score a solid number of points and should help keep the offense going when most of the starters are resting.  A lot of the lineups I see here would have Carter and Burch as the best scoring options off the bench, and I like the sound of Erwin and Burch much better.
