I just traded for a 21 year old catcher. He was playing AAA for the ballclub when I acquired him so i assigned him to my AAA system. He is hitting poorly, should this be a reason of concern? Should I move him back to AA? and is there any penalty to a player (such as a stunt of his growth)? Thanks in advance. Don't demote him, there is a "demotion penalty" possible. It's just a small sample size, he can hit big league pitching if you wanted him to.
