When maxed out isn't really maxed out Topic

My PG, Maxwell, has been practicing the minimum minutes to keep his ratings up since he is already maxed out in everything. The message came in from my assistant coach 13 days ago that he was maxed out in passing... yet today, he gained a point in passing?!?!? I thought once the coach sends you that message it's over and you can't expect another decimal point of growth. Does this happen often now? I'm just starting up again after a 2+ year break so maybe something has changed???

The "general consensus" on the forums is that, when you receive the max-out message, there might be some miniscule decimal level of improvement remaining. If you've got a guy at, say, 74.48 in a category, it will show as a 74 when you get the max e-mail and then trickle up to 74.51 or something, which would be enough to trigger a visual change to 75 for the guy.

It doesn't happen often, but it is one of those things that you'll see every once in a while in much the same way you'll see a kid occasionally lose a point after you've zeroed him out following receiving the max e-mail.

one way to handle this is that after you have maxed out everything - and zeroed out the minutes - you can bounce the minutes back up to some level.  I often see FT get a max message message and then later after being at zero and maxing out the rest, I give him minutes and he gets a second maxed out message which I assume means he has bounced back from a decimal loss
