How to recruit poorly.... Topic

There's that IQ again....it must have been 49.

Three openings + 2 teams that got knocked out in the first round of the NT...we might have had a PT team as well.

I coach the UConn (B+ prestige) team in question... I started recruiting with about 110k and 6 open spots. I had 5 guys locked up and 37k left when I started recruiting Savorie. In the end I spent 17k to get him to sign and was slow playing him after he showed up on FSS as leaning towards me in an attempt to save some money for next season.

TJ -- you're chasing a bogeyman trying to read into the FSS response. There are multiples responses that mean the same thing. A guy could be "very tight" at 2pm and the following morning, without any change, could be "tight", and then back to "very tight" that afternoon.

i've learned these lessons the hard way myself. It's the reason I'm in the current position I'm in with West Virigina. After being a perennial NT team I've missed the tourney 3 straight seasons and next season could be 4, all because I decided to get "cute" during recruiting.
