Bowie St. vs. Johnson C. Smith

Starters mostly at Fairly Fresh.

First half:
15:50 - everybody still Fresh
15:14 - first substitutions - three starters out
12:32 - second substitutions - fourth starter out, Maynard still in
10:53 - Maynard finally comes out (would have been sooner but no breaks)

Second half:
17:48 - first substitutions - three starters out 2.5 minutes earlier than 1st half, nobody has more than 1 foul
16:34 - fourth starter out 4 minutes earlier than 1st half, Maynard still in, no starter has more than 1 foul
15:06 - Maynard comes out around the time the first round of subs came in during the 1st half, Maynard has no fouls

Same lineup last time we played the same team, everybody was still Fairly Fresh at 15:54 remaining in the second half.

Any ideas why these guys subbed out so quickly in the second half?  Disclaimer: I know I lost this game for multiple reasons.

I guess the question becomes: Is this an entirely unsolvable or entirely uninteresting mystery?

First off, there is a fatigue accumulation that occurs during a game such that players naturally get tired more easily in the 2H of games.

But also, you improperly described the stamina box in the 2H of your first meeting vs. JC Smith.  You said everybody was FF, but that was for the JC Smith side of the pbp.  Your guys were all getting tired except for Ralson who was FF b/c he came in as a sub at 18:21.   And this was for 15:46 (or 15:30, depending how you look at it), not 15:54 fwiw.

Thanks for pointing out my error. In the earlier game I was looking at the first half when I thought I was looking at the second. Thanks also for confirming cumulative fatigue. I thought that may be the reason but was mistaken due to that misread and the dumb preconceived notion that halftime would just reset things. I appreciate the effort.
