I am about to give up on this whole process. I obviously dont know a thing about recruiting. as a dII C  member have lost at first signing to a dIII A.

have also seen one league member have 4 signing on first sign opportunity. HOW?

you could feasibly have 12 signings on the first signing opportunity.  if you have a guy considering you and offer a scholarship and they aren't considering someone else they will sign.

I can tell you your very first mistake is to be going after guys that a D3 team would even have a shot at. It means you are aiming too low, even if you got the guy you could have done way better.

If you don't understand how to recruit (which looking at your team history, it doesn't look like you do) then why are you in D2 in both worlds? Why not stay in D3 and learn how to play the game? There are a number of good recruiting resources and coaches willing to mentor people on the forums.
