SO i decided to feed my addiction and pick up a second team... it has a history of human ownership but was left to die pretty much... came in and had 8 sophomores, all but 2 of which were guards...

so i'm taking bets - how many seasons until i get to .500... how many til i win the division... how many til i win an NT game...

also - looking for advice... i'm changing my defense to M2M... so i'm expecting to lose every game this season... a success this season is growth by my 3 freshmen (should be four but i lost a battle) and being able to recruit 4-5 good freshmen next year... would you do anything different?

DIII?

Unless your schedule is brutal, you should be 500 year one.

If you aren't winning NT games by the time your first class are Jr.'s  you are doing something wrong.

Also, I would look into picking up some transfers....I have found them very useful in my DII rebuild.

Since the majority of your team are only sophs anyway, the growing pains won't be that much worse than they would have been without the change.  I'd say you'll make the NT their senior season without much trouble (assuming their potentials are all at least decent).

Since this season will be a wash regardless of what you do, I'd concentrate on giving minutes to the guys who have the most room to grow.

Their potentials are crap. Most are close to maxed out. My goal is nt by season 3. By that time they'll have the iq I need. Plus I like my freshmen.

I'm new to this game entirely, so I have no clue how to gauge when you'll compete. I just took over Upper Iowa in this world and was really interested in Aaron Robinson until it said he was considering you. Thought about putting up a battle for him, but thought since I was new and it recommended not to, that I wouldn't. I'll be tracking his progress to see if I was close or not on evaluating him.
