Signing Limits Question Topic

Haven't run into this one before so I would like some feedback before finishing up my recruiting class...

My Dominguez Hills team in Crum has 5 open scholarships and I plan to fill them all with freshmen. I also have a RS freshmen on the roster, so I'll be at my class limit of 6 freshmen for next season.

However, I have a sophomore on my team (Ditulio) who was ineligible last season as a freshman, so he will be listed as a senior in a few seasons, then a senior/5th his last season. The year that Ditulio is a senior/5th is the same season that the 6 freshmen will be actual seniors. I believe the 6 seniors count as one class and the senior/5th counts as a different class - it would not count as 7 seniors. Is that correct?

I plan to RS one of my incoming freshmen so it won't actually be a problem in a few seasons, but I'm worried that my AD won't let me sign the 5 frosh this season because of the issue I just described.

Let me know if my question doesn't make sense and thanks for the help!

You will be fine. I had 5 openings with my St. Martin's squad this past recruiting. Last season I had two recruits, one was an ineligible and the other I gave RS to. Since the inelgible isn't considered in the same class this situation is fine.
