Where did I screw this up?  Or did I just get unlucky?

I played the +2 defense because they shot an inordinate number of 3s in their first game.

why did you play a slowdown?

Probaly shooting 3's 2 much (don't force em) you may have to come to grips with your team being somewhat 1- dimensional for now.  Slowdown was a good idea i think cuz of your starters doing well and your bench doing poorly.  I would probaly also spread your distro less(more to your starters) until your inexperienced bench gets better and older.GL

I agree, I would have played uptempo for sure; you have better depth and have an insanely better turnover ratio.

I think slowdown was probably the way to go in this game.  His advantage in experience (IQ's, both O and D) was probably what tipped the scales.  For what it's worth, I probably would have played almost the exact same settings that you did.  Looks like you just had a bad night with the RNG.

Your team stamina is terrible for the fcp. Look at how tired they were down the stretch. With your starters in foul trouble, it put you in severe strain in the final minutes.

Everyone on the team is set to -1 or -2 3 point settings.  I'm hardly "forcing 'em."

On a related note, I'm seeing a problem with 3s on my Ark Tech team. I have both of my starting guards set at (0), everyone plays +1 or +2 against me, and my guys are still taking like 75% of their shots from 3.  I don't know what to do other than put them at (-1), which I don't really want to do with 90+ per guys.

I agree here.  Stamina will be an issue for your squad for awhile until it gets up to a better level for the FCP.  The stamina issue, combined with not having good FCP IQ's yet, is gonna make it tough for some time and is really good reason to try to slow the game down.  Once they improve, I think your team will probably be fine.  Still not sure why it was suggested above to run uptempo, considering all the factors, uptempo would seem like a really good way to get absolutely run off the court.  I don't know, maybe I'm missing something.........

Nine threes in the two games before the game in question.  I agree, Dahs, I don't think would qualify as forcing them.

I'm getting that result too.  0 really seems like a + setting to me.

dcy is right. uptempo = methodist getting blown out for 20-30 points. uptempo would have this team be in severe fatigue for half the game.

O my bad was just thinking that you guys didnt shoot well from 3 and your settings may have been too high on 3's.
