Redshirting? Topic

I am recruiting a guy who I told that I was going to redshirt him.  He said that he was going to look elswhere.  He is still only considering me.  I assume he will sign as expected, but will he take a WE hit when I RS him? 

Any help would be appreciated.

If you informed him during recruiting, he won't take a WE hit.  Just make sure that he still has the redshirt icon there though.

If you use the button, they almost always say jump in a lake during recruiting, but more effort will overcome that.  The RS button is like a -5 home visit button or something at D3.
