If the chance is 40% for each shot, the odds drops to 1 in over 310 MILLION. I've always felt free throws were off, having C guys hit over 80% out of 50 or more, and B+ guys hit less than 65%. The odds of such occurences are tiny, but in HD it happens regularly. I've sent tickets before, to no avail.
