Stadium Dimensions Question Topic

I am playing in the ARomano league and have the St Louis (NL) franchise and play in Busch Stadium II. the dimensions are:
LF 336   1B  -2
LC 385   2b  -2
CF 400   3b -1
RC 385  HRLF -1
RF 335  HRRF -1

What kind of stats should I be looking at for my hitters (offensive and defensive) and for the pitchers to best suit this ball park?

It's a pitchers park, but it's not that extreme. I'd say you'd want to look at GB-FB with slightly more weight since your singles and doubles are -2, therefore more grounders to your infield = less hits in the long run. Hitter wise, maybe you want a little more power but it's not too bad either way.

The dimensions (336, 385, etc.) are not important.  Only the park factors (-2, -2, 1, etc) matter.

It's always nice to be able to steal few bases in a pitcher's park.

With those park factors, should I be looking for control/gb-fb type pitchers then? how much does speed of the pitch have to do with the pitcher's ability?

For hitters should I be looking for higher contact and speed guys, or more of the power type guys?

Baserunners are nice commodity in a pitcher's park.   Don't walk people and draw some walks.    Control and eye are a bit more important, IMO.    And the aforementioned ability to steal a few bases.

That said, building a good, balanced team is the way to go.

Fly ball pitchers are less of an issue in a -1 or lower HR park.

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Robb Ross gets eaten up at home. He's always been much better statistically on the road. Granted, my team right now is not built for this park. I'd say ideally you want some high contact/split guys, and some sluggers to really succeed. I've been lucky to have some fast guys who can steal bases, which helps a lot in this park
