What's the best way to dump Minor League free agents who you have no interest in resigning? Wait until rollover then just release them? Release them before the playoffs end? Just simply not resign them?

Release them before rollover.   That way you don't have to pay them for next season.  But they're cheap.  Having a little minor league depth isn't a bad thing.

Thanks Mike. Some of the guys are just downright terrible and always injured.

I made an offer to a minor league free agent and got a message that he'd gotten a better offer.  But it won't let me offer a bonus or more money.  So how did he get a better offer if you can't edit offers?  Does this mean he got a major league offer?  He certainly doesn't deserve one....

He may like the other team better.

I'm not sure whether you're joking, tec.  Are there determining factors minor league free agents use when weighing identical offers?

Yes. It looks at the position depth in the competing organizations, and chooses the one with the "best chance for advancement."

The best you can do is offer MiL with ST invitation.
