Wasnt there a tread devoted to breaking down the different O's and D's and the type of players needed to run them? I havent played the basketball sim in awhile and I was curious if it was still around, AND still valid?

There were -- probably several. You can also see it in the FAQ.

That said, conventional wisdom is that there isn't a meaningful difference in what's needed between the offenses (except perhaps fastbreak).

yeah I remember that guide. But that was years ago, and probably 10 updates ago too. Write a new one LOL!!
