It was 296 down the right field line, and 465 in dead center (only Reggie Jackson ever hit one out there. where the Ruth-Huggins-Gehrig monuments were). I can't remember LF I think 330 at the pole, but don't quote me.

Reggie Jackson did not ever play in the original Yankee Stadium. The remodeling was done before he got there.

I saw Reggie, playing for the A's, hit a ball out to the monuments in dead center field for an inside the park homerun. So far as I know it is the farthest ball ever hit in Yankee stadium, or I am pretty sure that is what they said that night on the news. 

I wish I could remember the year - 1972 maybe, or 73.

Am I the only one, by the way that thinks it is weird that Yankee Stadium I is considered neutral for HRs in RF ? That is like listing Russia as neutral for being invaded after December.
