Training budget question Topic

Hi all,

I've been told to get my training to 20 million asap to slow down the aging process. My question is does this mitigate the chance each season to lose stats if a player is old enough, or is it an ongoing process affecting a hidden stat we cannot see.

For example, if my team is relatively young, mostly 26 and 27 year olds, and I don't care if the 31 year old guys age, is it okay to keep training in and around 14 mil. OR, will my younger guys ALSO receive negative affects that will affect them later on.

Sorry if this was a confusing question, I'm just curious if I can skimp on this budget while rebuilding.

Don't skimp there. It helps development and helps prevent prospect injuries, as well as slows down decline in over and under-30 players.

In addition to preventing injuries your previous seasons budget will impact certain ratings during the offseason. The ratings that are impacted include power, stamina, durability, and velocity.

Short version is virtually every experienced, quality owner is at least 18m in training.    It affects physical development/decline of players.

I think the most important affect of Training budget is, coupled with an individual players health rating, it creates the chances of an injury.  Once a guys goes down like someone shot him from the upper deck, then Medical determines how bad the injury is along with how long it will take to recover, and how well he recovers.  I think both Training and Medical should be raised to a minimum of 18M in both as soon as possible and leave it there.
