I really wasn't expecting to have any trouble with this game.  Obviously that happens sometimes, but I also had another team I thought I should handle take me to OT already.  Am I doing something dramatically wrong gameplanning-wise?

I haven't done any forensic gameplanning or anything... my first impression is FLUKE.  Your 96 PE guy went 9-22 and the free throws are way out of whack - both the totals and their conversion rate.

I was up 22-16 in the first half before going on a 2-16 run to end the half.  That was the worst part.

Yeah, a few big missed FT in that run, including the front half of a 1 and 1... and fouling got out of hand.  Not sure why Daniel would be hoisting up a 3 in the middle of it all.

I'm still going with fluke.

These things simply happen. I had a F4 game recently where I was ahead 42 to 24 with 5min left in the half, other team went on a 26 to 4 run in 5 min.

As long as everyone thinks it's a fluke I'm not too worried about it.  Just wanted to make sure nobody thinks I made any glaring coaching issues.  What do you guys think of the decision to start Jones over Gamble?  I basically like Gamble's scoring better with my 2nd unit, and Jones is probably a slightly better defender and has better IQs.

I'd do the same thing.  In fact, I was doing essentially that (minus the IQ) starting Ike Miguel over Bobby Brown on my Bowie St. team... until my starting SG got hurt in today's pm game.

DAMMIT.
