I just traded for a guy in his 3rd/final year of arb.  He's a 40-50 HR masher. (97-98-66-57-49 O #'s)

He says he won't sign with me after the year.  Wants to test the FA market.

Will I still get the Type A draft pick for him?

Yes, at 82 overall he will most likely be type A.
