Off season growth Topic

I just started paying attention to this but it seems that most of my players have a +/- 8 point swing in the off season.   This guy grew 25!  That's a lot right?

with that kind of work ethic, its pretty good.  you wouldn't expect that from a guy with WE of 31

Did this guy improve in categories he was maxed out in? Does that happen in the offseason?

I'm seeing 85 WE on the player in question, which explains a lot.

No.
That isn't quite accurate.  There is a maximum figure that a player can achieve in any particular category, but that is not necessarily the number at which the assistant coach will provide the "maxed-out" message.

I have had many players receive the assistant coaches message at, say, C+ free throw shooting, only to show up on campus at B- for the next season.  I think the largest improvement after the tapped-out message in numbered categories is about 2.   I would guess that to be a fraction over 1 and mathematical rounding to a whole number making up the rest.  Sometimes that's the only way a guy will reach his absolute maximum in a category.
