I hate it when people hate on those who play OLs. I know several owners who do constant OLs who would rape the theme scene.
Not hating on open league owners ash.. just saying that open leagues aren't really fair to begin with, if you're a newb. It's ironic that those playing are complaining about a guy w/ multiple teams. So apparently, it's okay to draft 17000 minutes because you need an advantage but you can't put two teams (or more) in a league to give yourself another advantage. Why the F not? It's his money, let him do what he wants w/ it.
If those complaining were confident, they wouldn't be complaining - they should be saying 'bring it on and I'll beat all 5 of your sorry *** squads.'
What would be the response to someone new, who drafted 19K+ minutes because they thought they would need them but then finds out (after the league started) that they're screwed. Open leagues have gone down the toilet imo, ever since they made it really hard to get injured, but moreover from injecting the C and D rooks into them. Nowadays, everyone is drafting 17-18K minutes and success is largely dependent on what your rooks are rated.
The random generation of the rookies doesn't make it any fairer, imo. It's just a way for the vets to squeeze out more Ws from the weak teams.
And I agree with dh - those bad *** open league owners should join the theme leagues.
