If you're comfortable with tandems, use him as B every time he's 100%.

If not, start him with a limited pitch count.

You can set him as a SuA type, with a pitch limit of about 30ish and he will be able to pitch several days before needing a few to come back.  These types of guys are great if you can get to the playoffs, where you sick him on some poor sap once per series.
