1 Opening in 1952/1980 Progressive-filled Topic

We have 1 opening in the 2nd season of a double season progressive that started with the 1951 & 1979 seasons and progresses one season at a time.

The league has 23 owners with only 1 owner having 2 teams in the league. We have completed the first season and 1 owner has not posted keepers and has not responded to site mails.

The open team is the Boston Celtics. The team was 34-48 in 1951/1979 and will draft 10th. The team has a solid starting lineup but will need some additional subs for season 2.

Th Boston Celtics roster for 1951/1979 was:

PG Bob Cousy, Ron Lee
SG Randy Smith, Max Zaslofsky, Earl Monroe (Retired 1980), Vern Gardner (Retired 1952)
SF Mike Mitchell
PF Mickey Johnson, George McGinnis
C   Dave Robisch, Dave Cowens (IR 1980), Mike Green (Retired 1980)

Monroe, Gardner and Green will need to be replaced, and Cowens has only one season left and may be a candidate to be cut rather than held on IR, so the team will need either 3 or 4 draft picks.

This is an opportunity to take a mediocre team and build it into a winner. If interested, sign up below.

This is an opportunity to manage a team with players from the Cousy/Mikan era (with Petit, Russell and others arriving soon) as well as the Bird/Johnson era (with Jordan arriving soon).

I'll take the team back and enter keepers tomorrow?

OK. I have posted keepers for the team-please look at what I posted and make any changes you want by end of the day tomorrow.

I plan to start the draft on the clock Monday 6/11 although we may be able to start off the clock earlier. Please be prepared to make your draft picks.
