My D1 Tennessee team scored a grand total of 10 (ten) points in the second half of a game against Kentucky (see box score below). 

Anybody ever seen/done worse than this?

I held a team to 9 points in the first half last season, but it was a D3 sim.

I've seen 8 points way back with one of my Maine-Presque Isle teams against a conference Sim opponent that was carrying like 8 walk ons.

On the flipside of this topic, my Wooster team this past season had held its first 26 opponents to an average of 59.7 points per game...we gave up 60 in the second half to an opponent in the conference tournament, probably costing us a place in the national tournament.

ive nvever held or been held to 10 or less in a half, but i just had a team (27RPI, so not a bad team by any means) shoot 5 for 29 in the 2nd half of a game this season.  we scored a few more than 10 points because we were going normal tempo and our opponent uptempo and we were able to make 9 free throws...but % wise that's about as bad as i've seen...so had we both been running slowdown who knows.

I remember a DIII  game from the early seasons. The halftime score was 45-1.

In those days, low scoring games were common. The slow tempo was too strong and, if both teams used it, we saw final scores as low as 32-29.

For individual futility, I had a freshmen center who missed his first 27 shots that season.  He couldn't even tap one in.  By senior year, though, he was All-Conference

Maybe OW or barretchap or one of the other long-term Allen Gulf South coaches can remember the details better, but a while back there was a game  between 2 fairly evenly matched teams - both eventually made the NT - that ended up with a 59-49 final, but the halftime score was 50-2.

Way way back when, I scheduled an exhibition game with one of my D3 teams against a pretty good D1 team.  I will never forget the final score: 125-25.
