If a draft pick looks like he'd be able to succeed in AA, is it ok to assign him there?  Or is it best practice to send all draft picks to Rookie League?

In real life obviously you'd put the player in AA, but I was wondering if this game has quirks in the player development that might reward/require a more conservative assignment.

If he'd succeed in AA, put him in AA, but only if you plan on getting him enough ABs.

He's already 22, so he may not hit any lofty projections you may see.   Bring him along one level per season, the only quirks are promotion bonuses.
