If a switch hitter is facing a righty starter that is better against lefties, will the switch hitter hit from the right or the left side?

There should be something inserted in the code that says if it favors the batter to hit from the same side as the pitcher (based on both hitter and pitcher ratings) then he should do so.

I don't think it ever happens in MLB.  Probably shouldn't happen here because we have tidy little numbers.

I may have seen somebody do it in MLB.  But I agree, it should be opposite in HBD.  Besides, how would you be able to tell from a PBP?

I've seen switch hitters hit same-side against knuckleballers-- but it's very rare.
