I was introduced to the game by a co-worker a couple of years back.

He had purchased a 4 pack, but after some bad experiences he quit the game. So he has a few seasons just sitting there. I offered him the 4 pack price for a couple of teams and he agreed and transfered the teams to my account.

Well I won a championship with one of the teams I purchased from him, and now admin is only crediting me as though I took over a team mid season.

I couldn't find anything about this "exception" anywhere, only the note about taking over a season without having paid for it.

I sent a ticket when the credit appeared instead of the rewards points, and their reply was:

The season used was a season you had received via a transfer.
As a result, it was not eligible for reward points. The transfer took place on 11/14/2011.

Does this seem right to anyone?

What difference could a transfer possibly make? They were paid for in full, but are somehow less authentic now?

That is their policy.  I won a WS with a takeover team and didn't receive reward points, just a $25 credit.

But this isn't the same as a takeover team.

I purchased the seasons from him. I didn't take over his team mid season.

THAT I understand. A replacement owner didn't pay for the team the removed owner did. That is fair.

How does it differ to WIS?

They can't possibly be expected to keep track of supposed money changing hands in the real world.

It's an odd policy, certainly not worth ******* off an owner by enforcing it, but it is their policy.
