How do you delete roles?

Yeah, I'm still afraid that prestige was over-corrected.

I believe you go back to the first player role menu and it will say "edit" and "delete" on the right side.

Perhaps I am not that bright. Can anyone explain the player role option?

You can set up rating weights (or use theirs) to say, well, what makes a good point guard?  If you think it's all ATH, SPD, and PASS, then just put zeros in the other columns and 1s (or 2s, or 30s, whatever) in those three, and then it'll rank recruits (or your current players) based on that.

You can use it for recruits as a sort of new OVR rating, but while it's less flawed than sorting by OVR (as you should really, really, have DUR set to 0 in all of your player roles), you have to remember that it still only deals with how good a recruit is now - it doesn't account for potential.  And the best HS seniors are not the best collegiate players.

But if there's a kid who's sorting to the top in your player roles and his ratings are mostly blue?  That's probably someone you want.

I just ran a test for this new player role thing. I chose Per for Big Men for the title and adjusted the %'s to bump up Per and lower the ratings in skills such as Dur and BH. When I looked at the result, there were a lot of single digit ratings in Per which I didn't expect. This is going to take some practice to work out the exact %'s to get an accurate list. I think it will work but it is not as simple as it appears at first glance.

Question -- Once I created the new list I saw a column that is titled TOT (total) that had %'s in descending order. The highest total was 49.7%. What does that tell me?

I think that is the rating based on how well they meet your role criteria...

I bet as far as the prestige changes, the people who have their prestige go down will complain about it and those that go up will think the changes are fine ...

I understand how to use this feature for current players (and like it a lot for that) ,but I don't see it on the recruit menu, and don't understand yet how to use it for recruits. Any ideas?
