What is a high number for 2B/100AB? Topic

What number are you guys looking for in 2b/100ab to consider yourself a doubles hitting team? Likewise a triples team? I see that Earl Webb is at 10 and some of the other big double hitters are at 7. So is 4 average?

If your main focus is 2bs, I would suggest sorting all available players by 2B/100 AB# and taking from the top 50. Likewise for triples. These stats are searchable if you turn on the advanced search criteria. If I were going for an all-doubles team, I'd set my bottom criteria at 8 2Bs/100# - that would give you around 50 2bs out of each of your players if they get 600 ABs in a season.

Well, I am actually not going for a doubles team but trying to figure out which park would be best for my guys I already have. I have a lot of players with 25-30 doubles and was wondering if I should go - doubles or +. I know they aren't great at doubles but their normalized numbers are between 4-7 with 5,6 being the most common.

Look at the Polo Grounds. If you have a ton of IP drafted Fenway even, but careful, it cuts both ways. The Kingdome is also good and under-utilized in my opinion.
