Recruiting effort for prospect who e-mails you Topic

Is less effort (I.e. $$$) required to sign someone who e-mails you to transfer in, or should I assume he is also e-mailing several others? Do I get any recruiting advantage by the fact that he asked me to take a look? No FSS for this guy as a transfer, so I don't know improvement likelihood.

I don't think you get any credit, and if you do it is small.   Since most of them suck, they'll end up signing cheap anyway.

Yea I've never even bothered to recruit someone who emailed me. It has always been someone I would never consider anyway. You can get better than those guys.

For some reason these players always suck.  Reminds me of in GD when the assistant coach "scouts" someone for you and added them to your recruiting list

Normally I agree, but this guy is a transfer who might start on my new squad...I took over a Sim team with 7 seniors and no One else:

Yeah, he doesn't suck.   If you play Man and Motion (he has B+'s) he would actually be good.

He wouldn't be a bad 2 or 3.

I play man and Press...hoping his SP, ATH and D can help him skate by as he learns on the job!

You don't get any boost for recruiting him. But yes they are usually a pretty easy sign although you can bet some schools within a close radius will be recruiting them also.

With that work ethic I wouldn't factor in his potentials too much anyway.  He will be a good sign if he is usable right away for you,  just don't rely on his learning the job.
