Is it possible to notify a JC recruit of a redshirt, then pump a few HVs to him, and have him accept? With freshmen this is commonplace but has anyone ever done it with JCs or transfers?

it is possible, but harder - as ever, it depends on the player - his ranking, your prestige, etc etc
