D1 - recruiting with a C+ Topic

I have just taken over Loyola-Chicago in Rupp.  The team has a C+ prestige.  I have not recruited in D1 with a C+ in a while... any guidelines on what level of players I can reasonably target?  I realize that this can depend on a lot of factors, but any general guidelines would be a great help to me.  I have scouted players from the elite level all the way down to guys in the low 500's in overall rating because I am not sure what to expect.  I figure the big studs will get snapped up by the Big Ten schools in the neighborhood, but no real feel for just how low I should aim to not get shut out.

Help!  Recruiting starts in an hour, so please reply sooner rather than later!

Don't even think about anyone rated #1-10 at their position as the A/A+ schools will be all over them. I would extend that to about #15 unless they are within 70 miles from your campus. I would consider about 630-640 overalls as the upper limit and realistically I would look for players ranked #20 and downward in the mid to upper 500's. Some coaches can probably successfully recruit players in the range I have excluded but that is not the norm.

When I took over Baylor in Rupp for a couple seasons and this jerk davis was at Texas, I generally would hope for players ranked in the 20s at their position to slip through the cracks, but the ones with good potential rarely made it; I usually found I could get guys in the 30s and 40s with good potential, where I thought they could end up in the low-to-med-700s with decent cores.

Yeah, I live in the 30's and 40's at B- Rutgers...

I was pretty happy with my haul at mizzou. You can take a look. Maybe not as highly ranked as others but huge potential and a full class and no battles.
