Filler Innings Strategy (leagues w/out AAA)? Topic

Thank you, I corrected the original post to correct that mistake.

No one explains this stuff as well as Len.  When I first started, there was a great advice for newbies post that he authored...and I think there may have been a 2008 update to that thread as well.  Not sure if that thread still exists, but if you can find it, it's gold (even allowing for more recent updates to the algorithm).

Thanks for the compliment... I used to be a lot more active here than I have been in the last few years... Because of the general weakness of getting theme leagues started, and the reduced rewards structure for experienced owners in open leagues, I play almost exclusively in progressive leagues these days.

But with the re-design, site staff  is starting to get the old baseball council re-started, so I've been visiting a bit more to make sure I understand what is going on.

What I share is generally my own opinion.  Follow it at your own risk.  WIS doesn't share all of it's internal workings with me or anyone else who doesn't work there.

But I post what I truly believe, and if you're able to profit from it, you're welcome to do so.  I may be mistaken, but I'm not intentionally trying to steer anyone wrong.

Very interesting.

I guess I've never really looked at it that way. Mostly I just line-up stats + $ and find out who fits my liking. Now there are so many advanced stats and such, it's hard to keep track of what is going on. It would be interesting to see how they come up with these #s.

Thanks for the help with pitching , biglenr.
