Maybe I'm overcomplicating things, but I worry about his BH.  It's never going to be better than low-mid 30s.  His PER is going to end up in the mid 80s.  I plan on playing him at PF, maybe as a slow SF in the future.

Or: talk about how BH affects perimeter shooting.

not nearly as much as if you wanted him to be a slasher.  i dont think the 35 speed at SF will kill you, especially with the good def rating and rebounding.  i'd probably have him set to +1 with low distro this season to see how he does and then adjust accordingly.  you can use him at pf too but i still think sf is his best position by a fairly wide margin

Thanks.  I'd like him at SF too, ATH-slashing, but it's a team-composition thing.  Upcoming recruiting will be key.

+1, I'm surprised, with a 30s BH?  Don't get me wrong.  I'd be thrilled to hear that that BH is just fine with that PER.

Just my opinion, but I think that even with a decent Per rating, his low BH combined with being pretty slow will make it tough for him to be an effective long range shooter.  Of course, I've been wrong many before so take that eval with a grain of salt.

llama, +1 he's going to be more of a catch and shoot 3 point shooter...he has no low post game and can't get to the basket with that speed and bh, so i think it's the only chance he has to be an effective scorer.  i definitely don't think he's going to be efficient if he has more than low to mid distro though.  might be able to give you one or two 3's a game and play good D though

if he can play off the bench against reserves his limitations might be minimized...

Could easily give you 8-10 PPG I think...  Not sure if I'd play him on 0 or +1, though, I imagine results would have some bearing on that decision.  Right now definitely 0, but in the mid-80s for PER I could go either way...  Of course those scoring potentials are also projections based on his future talent.

Thanks, all. For what it's worth, he still has 22-? Points left in LP.

I've had success with C's with high PERIMETER and low speed but never PF.    Maybe because PF's tend to have higher speed's ?  Either way, I think he'll be okay as a shooter,   I would think +1 and adjust based on performance.   I think if you leave it at zero, he won't take enough 3's to be able to make an educated decision.
