A couple of points because I think you missed the key point:

1)  The two are not mutually exclusive.  It's never mattered b/c the league commish never answered as he never does.  He makes something then abandons it.

2)  Cool.  Enjoy.  I'm not sure it will work without the commish there, but it might.

I also wasn't aware a league wouldn't work without the founder present. If that's the case, then I'll pull my team.

I was thinking of re-doing this league at some point, with different rules.

First, there will be either a banned list of players you can't clone and/or a draft (position by random drawing) to choose just the cloned player. This has to happen because in this league it's going to be boring as half the teams have cloned the same guy.

Second, you won't be able to clone someone more than once. The example in this league was of cloning a player once, and with one notable exception, everyone in this league did that. One guy decided to clone a guy three times, which really doesn't mesh well with everyone else's teams.

hmmm... If only that commish had stuck around to fix things...  Has the league started (or given a start date)?
